In MPM calculations, the solution is stored in a series of archive files (see <a href="archive.html">Archive Command</a>). You can optionally create a global results file which will store a collection of calculated result such as average stress, total energy, <i>etc.</i>, in a single file. This file can be opened later and plotted by special software or by any spread-sheet software. The file is tab delimited with the time (in msec) in the first column and all requested results in subsequent columns. The <code>GlobalArchive</code> and <code>GlobalArchiveTime</code> commands selects which analysis results are saved in the global results file and how often they are saved:
